Cinema Casino Espai Cultural
The Cinema Casino Espai Cultural offers a stable and diverse film program throughout the year. This cinema is located inside the Casino Cultural building, located in the center of Begur and included in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
The box office opens half an hour before each screening, and once the film has started, the entrance doors close.

Indians Fair
The Indians Fair is an event that celebrates the historical connection between Cuba and Begur, born from the emigration of many Begur residents to the island during the 19th century. Those who achieved success in their businesses in Cuba, upon returning, built luxurious mansions that still adorn the streets of the town today. These people, known as "americanos", wanted to recreate the Cuban lifestyle and left a great cultural influence on the town.
On the first weekend of September, Begur is transformed to relive that significant era, with a market of overseas items, craft demonstrations and musical performances. During the fair, you can enjoy Caribbean rhythms with renowned Cuban groups such as Barnahabana or La Máquina del Sabor, as well as habaneras and street shows that will recreate the era of the Indians. Likewise, various cultural activities are scheduled, such as exhibitions, conferences and round tables that delve into the legacy of the "Americanos".

Begur Music Festival
This festival, one of the oldest on the Costa Brava, is held every year between the first weekend of August and the first weekend of September. Its program includes a wide variety of concerts, highlighting those of the Cantada d'Havaneras, the Saturday concerts and those organized during the Indians Fair.
The aim of the Begur Music Festival is to offer quality concerts and a wide range of musical styles, from son and salsa to bolero, habaneras and lyrical. All concerts are free, with the aim of offering a musical proposal accessible to all audiences, including both Begur residents and visitors.

Cantades d'Havaneras
Begur is known for its two very popular cantades d'havaneras: one in Plaça Esteve i Cruañas in the town centre, and the other on Sa Riera beach. Both are held during the summer and, of course, are complemented by the traditional rum cremat!

Begur Costa Brava International Film Festival
This festival takes place every October and is a prominent event in local culture. In addition to film screenings, which include premieres in the original version, exhibitions and concerts are also organised. Its aim is to consolidate Begur as a cultural destination, attracting quality tourism and film fans.

Major Festivals
Begur celebrates its two major festivals: one in honour of Sant Pere, at the end of June, and the other in honour of Santa Reparada, in September. In addition, there are other festivals in nearby towns such as the Esclanyà Festival (the first weekend of August) and Sa Tuna (in August), which close the town's summer festivals.

Begur en Flor
This event celebrates the arrival of spring, filling the town's streets with flowers and colours. It is an opportunity to stroll through the historic centre of Begur while listening to music and enjoying the beauty of the landscape.

Rock Fish Campaign
Begur also stands out for its gastronomy, and the Rock Fish Gastronomic Campaign is a showcase of its seafood cuisine, with quality catering and cultural activities that complete the culinary experience.

Begur Flamenco Festival - Carmen Amaya
This festival is held in November, offering an immersion in the culture and art of flamenco outside the summer season. During the weekend, you can enjoy concerts, master classes, shows and other flamenco-related activities, such as popular lunches and guided tours.
